In this tutorial, you'll learn how to upload a document to a workspace repository and accurately index its metadata. This process is essential for organizing and retrieving documents efficiently within your system.

Log in and Access Your Workspace

Start by logging into your system using your email and password. Once logged in, navigate to the Workspaces page. Here, select the Accounts workspace to view its list of repositories. This step ensures you're in the right area to manage and organize your documents.

Open the Repository and Upload Your Document

Within the Accounts workspace, locate and click on the Accounts Payable repository. Once inside, click the Upload button to open the file upload panel. Use the Browse Files button to find and select your document from your local files. This action will upload the document to the repository, preparing it for metadata indexing.

Index the Document Metadata

After uploading, select your document to begin the metadata indexing process. Click the Index icon to transition to the metadata entry panel. Here, you'll need to enter the vendor name, document type, purchase order number, document number, amount, and document date. Use the document preview to assist with accurate data entry. Once all information is entered, save your changes to finalize the indexing.

Refresh the Repository and Verify Upload

After saving, a success message will confirm that your document and its metadata have been saved. If the document doesn't immediately appear in the list, use the Refresh icon to update the display. The system may require a couple of refreshes to show the new document due to processing time. Once visible, click on the document to review its content and metadata.
